Phoebe Riel is an illustrator based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), Alberta, and a proud member of the ‘Na̲mg̲is First Nation with Ojibway roots and mixed European ancestry. Inspired by the Alberta landscape, the BC coast, and the power of storytelling, her work blends nature, nostalgia, and culture into playful, heartfelt illustrations.
